1. Who we are and what this covers
SnapTerra is offered by Trusspoint Technologies LLC (“SnapTerra”, “we”). These terms cover the SnapTerra iPhone app, this website and the tour links we host. By creating an account or using SnapTerra you agree to them.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- The first walkable 3D home at its introductory price (and a referred agent's free first home) is one per person, given once per iPhone, after you confirm your email. Creating extra accounts to get more is not allowed. Its price comes back as a home credit if you subscribe within 14 days, or if our automatic checks hold the tour as broken.
- Teams: the owner of a Team or Builder plan pays for it and controls its shared library; members' tours belong to the team's library.
3. What SnapTerra does
You walk a home with the SnapTerra app. Depending on what you choose, the app and our computers make a floor plan, a 360° photo tour and a walkable 3D home (Photo scans are coming), and we host them at private links you can share, including an unbranded link for an MLS and embed codes for websites.
Automatic checks. Every tour made on our computers is checked automatically before it can go online: the 3D model's picture quality (a model that came out broken, or that we couldn't measure, is held; one below our best is published, and its picture-quality score is shown to you on the tour's page); privacy (the check looks for people, faces, documents and screens, blurs what it can and holds a tour it can't clean up); and explicit content. A tour that fails a check is held and is not published; we tell you why and you can rescan, or ask us to remake it when the model is the problem. The checks are not a guarantee: you are responsible for what you publish (section 4).
4. The homes you scan: permission and privacy
- Only scan homes you have permission to scan and publish. Before you scan, you must have the permission of the owner and of anyone living there (for example a tenant) to photograph the interior and to publish the tour. For a listing, this is usually part of your listing agreement; if it isn't, get it in writing.
- Each tour asks you to confirm this permission before it first goes online, and we record when you did. “Put tours online automatically” is off until you turn it on; turning it on records your confirmation that you will have this permission for every tour that goes online that way.
- Before scanning, put away mail, documents, photos of people, screens, medication, valuables and anything else personal, and keep people out of the rooms.
- If an owner or occupant asks you to take a tour down, take it offline promptly (one tap on the tour's page).
5. Listings, MLS rules and measurements
- You are responsible for following your MLS's rules and the law when you use a tour in a listing. Use the unbranded link (no agent details) where branding isn't allowed.
- Tours show the home as it was on the day you scanned it. Don't use them to misrepresent a property.
- Floor plans and areas are measured by phone and approximate. They are not official square footage, an appraisal, a survey or construction drawings. Call it “measured interior area”, and check anything that matters with a tape.
- Fair housing: tours and the contact form must not be used to discriminate against anyone.
6. Your content
You own your scans and tours. You give us a license to store, process, copy, host and display them to provide SnapTerra (for example, to make your tour, run the automatic checks, host your links and keep backups). We use a tour in our own marketing (such as the demo tours on our home page) only with your permission. You can download the complete tour folder of any tour you paid for, and host it anywhere.
7. Prices, plans and payments
- Pay per listing: $29 up to 3,000 sq ft, $49 up to 5,000 and $79 up to 7,500, with 12 months online. For now, homes are bought in the SnapTerra iPhone app; to keep a tour online longer than its 12 months, contact us.
- Credits: credits bought as a pack last 24 months. Credits from a home bought in the iPhone app that its scan couldn't use, and the first home's price given back as a credit, never expire.
- Plans (Essentials and Pro in the iPhone app; Builder and Team are coming soon) renew automatically every month or year at the price shown when you subscribed until you cancel. Cancel any time where you subscribed (a plan bought in the app: your Apple ID's subscriptions); the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and every tour paid for stays online for at least 12 months from its purchase. Included homes are counted by month; Pro's unused homes roll over one month. Extra homes and extra seats are billed with the plan.
- Founding price (40% off): offered to the first 100 subscribers or until February 28, 2027, and kept for as long as that plan continues without ending.
- Purchases in the iPhone app are made through Apple and are governed by Apple's terms, including Apple's refund process; a plan bought in the app is managed and canceled in your Apple ID settings. This website takes no payments for now: every purchase is made in the iPhone app, through Apple's App Store.
- [Refunds: to be decided. Draft: we refund a listing we couldn't deliver; partial plan periods aren't refunded.]
- Prices may change; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell subscribers at least 30 days ahead.
8. Online time, going offline and downloads
We email you 30 days before a tour's online time ends. When it ends, its links show that the tour is unavailable; the tour stays in your account and its folder stays downloadable.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use SnapTerra to publish anything illegal, explicit, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights; to scan places without permission; to break or probe our systems; or to copy tours you don't own.
10. Reports and takedowns
Anyone can report a tour with the “Report” link on it. We tell the tour's owner and review the report; if it is valid we take the tour down, and a taken-down tour can't be put back online. Copyright notices go to our designated agent: [designated copyright agent to be registered]. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Disclaimers and limits
SnapTerra is provided “as is”. [Limitation of liability, indemnity, and warranty disclaimer wording: for the lawyer.] Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
12. Ending
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 4–6 and 9–13 continue after an account closes.
13. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. [Venue and whether disputes go to arbitration: for the lawyer.] We will post changes here and tell account holders of material changes before they take effect.

For the lawyer: open questions
- The selling entity, its address, and the support, privacy and copyright-agent contacts.
- Homeowner and occupant consent: is the agent's confirmation enough, or should we collect a signed consent (for example a short form the seller signs in the app)?
- The automatic privacy check detects (does not identify) faces to blur them: confirm this is outside biometric laws (Illinois BIPA, Texas, Washington) and how to describe it.
- Refund policy; auto-renewal disclosures (California and other states' automatic-renewal laws); the founding-price wording.
- Limitation of liability, indemnity, arbitration and class-action waiver, venue.
- MLS-specific wording (Las Vegas REALTORS® “Virtual Tour Link 2” rules).
